85 Macquarie Street Launch
Developer Holdmark Property Group is building an 11-storey tower at 85 Macquarie Street Parramatta where 10,000sqm of floor space, a four-deck basement carpark, six ground-level shops, 11 offices levels and a rooftop terrace to be completed by 2022.
The Turner-designed project will connect to 5 Parramatta Square, which will house a library and community spaces next to the existing town hall.
A Commonwealth Bank spokeswoman said Parramatta’s fast-growing CBD made it the perfect location for its new tenancy.
“Growing our business banking presence in Parramatta is part of our continued commitment to support the growth of western Sydney and the businesses based there,’’ she said.
Work on the rapidly-moving project started last August when the development application was approved.
